Publicity
After Music All In music store Plato in Deventer is also going to start selling Nightlive's new CD Caught by the Clock. Right now it's only the store in Deventer, but most likely all stores in Holland will follow on short notice. Visit Platomania and ask for the CD!
The Nightlive CD was played last weekend in café De Halte in Zutphen en received well. The public obviously liked the music, because people couldn't stop dancing.
Monday 29th of December "De Stentor" (previously Zutphens Dagblad), a regional newspaper, will publish an interview and review on Nightlive and the new CD.
And soon there will be a radio interview on Radio Berkelstroom FM. The date is not yet clear, but will be announced as soon as possible.

READY!!
It's ready for sales and it looks GOOD! The new Nightlive CD is available in stores since last Thursday afternoon! Music All In is one of the first places where you can get the CD and they had enthousiastic first reactions! The price of the CD in stores is € 12,99. You can also order the CD through this website (check the new section Albums). The price on the website is a bit cheaper, but will eventually be a bit higher due to costs for handling and post and package.
We're very curious for your reactions!

Performance for CD-presentation
January 17th 2004 Nightlive will give a little concert in Amsterdam in Rockcafé "The End".
This performance is for the CD-presentation in the west of the Netherlands!!! So be there!
There"s going to be an announcement in the Dutch music magazine "OOR"

Release date for the new CD is set!!
The new CD is finished! The final corrections are made to the design of the cover and the release date is set for December 17th. So if all goes according schedule you can listen to Nightlive's new CD during Christmas!!
There have been some small changes regarding the contents of the CD. Two songs are replaced and the order has been changed a bit:
1. Wilderness of Streets
2. Satan's Angels
3. From the Heart
4. Two Women
5. Wild Goose
6. Those Wasted Years
7. Two Sisters
8. The Estranged
9. No Returns
10. Nathalie

Result of the design contest van de ontwerpcompetitie
The design contest for Nightlive's CD is won by Arno. The actual design will remain secret until the release date of the CD, so if you want to see, and more importent, if you want to HEAR, make sure that you get your own CD!

Contest to design CD-cover
Nightlive's new CD is being mixed as we speak. To pull the audience closer to Nightlive, they decided that the title and CD-cover will be chosen through a design contest. The winner, if living in the Netherlands, will get a signed CD and will go out with the band for a night on the town. If the winner is from outside the Netherlands s/he will get a signed CD sent by mail. Participants need to send their designs before 7th of November 2003.
The design and rights to the design will become Nightlive's. Correspondence regarding the outcome of the contest is not possible. Designs can be sent to Adriaan de Vries.
The songs on the CD will be:

Nightlive is, despite the tropical temperatures, currently busy recording their new album.

Apologies and new performances
I already left a message in which I wrote that due to unknown reasons I hadn't been able to update the site in time. It appears now that there was a little problem with webhost Uniserver, but that problem has been solved. Unfortunately you missed the updated tourguide, for which again my apologies. The performance that you missed was one in Café De Halte at the Groenmarkt in Zutphen. People who were informed about this performance and were present, had a good time. For the people who missed it: here are some new dates (see also the tourguide).
Friday 25th of July Nightlive will be in Rockcafé The End, Nieuwebrugsteeg 32 in Amsterdam. Entrance is free.
Yes, yes, Nightlive is leaving provincial boundaries. The next step is international! :o)
Tuesday 2nd of September Nightlive will be playing at a private party in Zutphen. Its location will remain secret, since otherwise the definition of private might be violated.

The beginning of the big break-through?
Maybe this is it? There's a big break-through in the battle for publicity: Friday July 11th Nightlive is going to be heard on the radio.
The Dutch channel Keizer FM (region Arnhem-Nijmegen) is going to play Nightlive somewhere between 10pm and 2am!
And that in combination with John Hayes' comments on Nightlive's music ("The music is very powerful and shows a lot of emotion, the backline has a real groove. Thanks for sharing this feeling") cannot mean anything else than that this is the beginning of something much bigger!

Important website update
The frequent visitors of this site have undoubtedly noticed: there's a new link on the main page. One that leads to downloads.
As of now everyone can download bits and pieces of Nightlive songs.
Not yet very many, but we expect to enlarge the collection on short notice. So go and attack!

Big developments!
Nightlive's single cd "From the Heart" wil be played in "MOTHERS FINEST" bandbus during their tour!!!
Guitarists Moses Mo and John Hayes have confirmed this. Adriaan had the pleasure to get acquainted with these Funk/Rock giants during the recordings of colleague "Splinter".
It's a big compliment for Ben and Erik, since they spent the last two weeks sweating in the Call of Fame studio to finish the recordings of From the Heart.

Nightlive records single!!!
Last weekend Nightlive spent in the TTS-Studio in Arnhem and worked on a Promo-Single containing the songs Ruby and The Estranged. It was great working together with Tycho Snellenburg and Mark Meijeringh, two audio-engineers from the advertising scene and the house scene. Nightlive used their knowledge and experience to emphasize the typical sound for which Nightlive is so known.
So now we have a place to recommend if you need recordings and/ or jingles. Check www.tts-music.com for more information.

Promising new band
Nightlive made arrangements with a new promising band in the Dutch rock circuit. The band Noteloos will frequently perform as Nightlive's pre-act in the coming year.
Noteloos is a Dutch with their own Dutch repertoire and catching lyrics that fit well with Nightlive's repertoire.
Keep an eye on them!

Another formationchange
Nightlive is changing its set once again. Background singer Karlijn has decided to start working on a solo career and will leave the band. However, she will stay in close contact with Nightlive, since Adriaan will start to write songs for her.
At this point Nightlive decided that Ben is going to take over the second vocal parts. Earlier performances have showed that this works very well.

In Memoriam Jacques Kockelkoren
Today we received the shocking message that Jacques Kockelkoren died due to a heart-attack in the hospital in Groningen.
He was 51 years young.
The Nightlive crew wishes the family the power to deal with this loss.

Nightlive takes a different turn
With the new formation of the band comes a new image. And a new website.
Nightlive has big plans for the future and here's where it starts!
